Séverine Vincent is the Head of our Family Law team and Senior Partner of the firm. She supports individuals and families through all aspects of divorce and family breakdown, including high net worth financial cases involving assets in the UK and abroad.
Séverine has an array of experience across family law and advises on high net worth and complex financial remedy proceedings and more modest matters, which can prove equally challenging.
She also deals with nullity, judicial separation proceedings, cohabitation disputes and injunctions.
Séverine is known for her calm and empathetic approach towards clients, who are often experiencing emotionally difficult situations.
Her straightforward, non-nonsense style makes her a strong negotiator when securing fair outcomes and divorce settlements. Much of her work comes from personal recommendations from clients she has previously acted for.
Séverine studied law at Thames Valley University in London and was admitted as a solicitor in 2005. She has over 30 years of experience working in the legal field.
Severine began her career at Stephenson Harwood, a large international city firm in London, before moving to Tite and Lewis, a London-based firm established in association with PwC and later Ernst & Young.
After relocating to Warwickshire, Séverine joined Field Overell (now Field Overell LLP) in 2006 as an assistant solicitor.
Through sheer determination and hard work, Séverine worked her way up and became an associate solicitor in 2008, a salaried partner in 2011, an equity partner in 2014 and the Senior Partner in 2025.
Severine is fluent in French, being a native speaker. She has not lost her French accent just yet, despite being in the UK for over 30 years!
